This started out to be one of those ethereal snowflake photoshoots, but alas, we made it outside just as the last lonely flakes fell from the sky. We’d been waiting all winter for that perfect snowfall- and once again, we had muffed it. Some of us were a trifle irritated and grumpy, and we nearly called the whole thing off, but we happened to stumble upon this rather nice enchanted forest, and we were even more pleased with the results than the original plan. Sometimes it’s just best not to wait until conditions are perfect, but to just get out there and try. It may come out even better than you had hoped!

See it?

Here, look a little closer- bobcat tracks!

We found what seemed to be a small porch next to an old stump. We called out at the door, but there didn’t seem to be anyone home.

Did it disappoint? 🙂

May our plans always fail so well.
